Dracut hadn't done well against Lowell recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Middies won by a run and slipped past the Red Raiders 14-13. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Middies considering their one-run performance the match before.

Dracut now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Lowell, their loss was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4.

Coming up, Dracut will challenge North Andover at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lowell, they are taking a road trip to challenge Andover at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
