The Barron Collier Cougars won the last time they faced the Bonita Springs Bullsharks, and things went their way on Monday too. Barron Collier blew past Bonita Springs 68-8 at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-4.
Rebecca Van't Hoff had a dynamite game for Barron Collier, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 12 steals. Another player making a difference was PEYTON HEFFLEFINGER, who went 6 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 20 points and 1 assists.
The victory got Barron Collier back to even at 2-2. As for Bonita Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Barron Collier will stay at home for another game and welcome Golden Gate at 7:30 p.m. on November 28th. Golden Gate is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Bonita Springs, they will head out on the road to face off against Aubrey Rogers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Aubrey Rogers focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Tuesday.
