Basketball Recap: Mansfield Timberview's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

Mansfield Timberview was the 48-44 winner over Mansfield Legacy when they last played one another back in February of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Mansfield Timberview Wolves fell 69-62 to the Mansfield Legacy Broncos on Saturday. The Wolves' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

When it comes to explaining why Mansfield Timberview lost, don't look at Dani Milliner. Despite the final result, she went 7 of 15 en route to 18 points. Milliner is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games she's played. Another player making a difference was Sydney Gamble, who posted eight points.

Even though they lost, Mansfield Timberview was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive games.

Mansfield Timberview's defeat dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Mansfield Legacy, their record now sits at 10-11.

Mansfield Timberview and Everman will meet in a canine-themed contest at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mansfield Legacy, they will welcome Weatherford at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
