Winning always takes teamwork, but on Monday Leah Wale stepped things up a notch to give Breckenridge the 'W'. Wale struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up six earned runs off nine hits, which was good enough to set a new career-high in strikeouts.

Looking ahead, Wale and Breckenridge are taking a road trip to take on Montabella at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Huskies are 8-2 against the Mustangs going back to April of 2018, a lead they'll look to extend.
