Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Coleman). They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 52-49 win over the Breckenridge Huskies on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Comets have posted against the Huskies since February 28, 2020.

The win got Coleman back to even at 3-3. As for Breckenridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coleman will take on Montabella in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Montabella knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Coleman likes a good challenge. As for Breckenridge, they will be home for the holidays to greet Carson City-Crystal at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Breckenridge is facing Carson City-Crystal at the right time seeing as Carson City-Crystal is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
