The Owosso Trojans lost against the Durand Railroaders back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Owosso took a hard 67-51 fall against Durand. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Owosso in their matchups with Durand: they've now lost six in a row.
Durand was led to victory by Brayden Joslin and Markell Tate. Joslin scored 20 points along with 4 steals, while Tate scored 18 points along with 6 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Tate has scored at least 25% of Durand's points. Another player making a difference was Kwin Knapp, who scored 14 points.
Owosso's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Durand, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Owosso won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Fenton at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th. As for Durand, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Chesaning at 7:00 p.m. Chesaning will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
