Make it ten blowout wins for the Boone Braves this season. They claimed a resounding 51-16 victory over Harmony at home. The victory was familiar territory for Boone who now have eight in a row.
Mckenna Murphy was her usual excellent self, scoring 16 points along with six steals. She hasn't dropped below 15points for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Danika Ballard, who scored six points along with four steals.
Boone's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-3. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 35.33 points. As for Harmony, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Boone will take on Lake Howell at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lake Howell will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 308th, while Boone is ranked 37th). As for Harmony, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Merritt Island at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Merritt Island focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 38 on Monday.
