Summit Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mike Thomas iii, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds. Thomas iii hasn't dropped below two blocks for four straight games. Max Rieger was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with three steals.
Summit Christian Academy's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.1 points per game. As for Van Horn, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-15.
