  Kannen Bard was cooking despite his team's loss,   getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances with two  runs and one  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Xavier Brooks, who  got on base  in two of his three plate appearances with two  runs.
Evansville Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for North Daviess, they pushed their record up to 12-9-1 with the  victory, which was their sixth straight  at home.
 Looking ahead, Evansville Harrison will head out to  face off against Evansville Mater Dei  at 3:00  p.m.  on Saturday. The Wildcats' pitching crew has only allowed 2.1  runs per game  this season, so the Warriors' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for North Daviess, they are taking a road trip to  square off against Eastern Greene  at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
