South Fort Myers is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. Everything went their way against Dunbar as they made off with a 20-1 win. The Wolfpack's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Parker Eyre was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Eyre was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances. He is becoming a predictor of South Fort Myers' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 2-1 (and 9-13 when he doesn't).

The win (which was South Fort Myers' third in a row) raised their record to 11-14. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Palmetto Ridge, they now have a winning record of 11-10.
