In what's become a running theme this season, the Wylie Pirates gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They never let Naaman Forest onto the board and left with a 3-0 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Wylie.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Logan Montgomery and
Mahey Mohammed, who scored all three of Wylie's goals. The pair have combined for a total of 13 so far this season.
Wylie has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season. As for Naaman Forest, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7-5.
Wylie will be playing in front of their home fans against Sachse at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Wylie is coming into the match with seven straight victories at home, meaning Sachse will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory. As for Naaman Forest, they will head out on the road to face off against North Garland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Naaman Forest's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for eight straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
