A Season-Best Effort from Max Heyn Leads Freeland over Glenn
Freeland was led to victory by Max Heyn, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Heyn rushed for 225 yards and four touchdowns on only eight carries, and also threw for 36 yards and a touchdown. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 82-yard run.
The victory for Freeland keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. It'll be Battle of the Birds when Falcons takes on Frankenmuth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Beougher Posts Huge Game in 56-35 Win
Boston Beougher posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 224 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 14.0 yards per carry. He didn't just play on offense: he also made four total tackles and defended a pass.
The victory (which was Swan Valley's fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-3. Beougher and Swan Valley are taking a road trip to face off against Alma at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Garrett Hilborn Turns in Season-Best Performance
Glenn came up short on Friday despite Garrett Hilborn delivering his best game to date. Hilborn rushed for 150 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, and also picked up 39 receiving yards.
Glenn now has a losing record at 3-4. Hilborn and Glenn will venture away from home to face off against Powers Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Colton Klein Goes Supernova in Swan Valley Victory
The second Swan Valley player making an appearance here is Colton Klein, and for good reason. He threw for 243 yards and three touchdowns on only 19 passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
If the past is any indication, Klein could be in store for another big game when he takes on Alma on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Klein saw the Panthers), he threw for 147 yards and four touchdowns on only 11 passes, and also rushed for 67 yards on only nine carries.

Garber's Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to Tristan Westphal
Thanks in part to Tristan Westphal, Garber said goodbye to their five-game losing streak. Nobody could stop Westphal on Friday as he picked up two sacks and made nine total tackles.
