The Fort Wayne Canterbury Cavaliers are taking a road trip to take on the Muncie Burris Owls at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Fort Wayne Canterbury can't be too worried about heading out to take on Muncie Burris: they just beat Bluffton at home, who had been dominant on their own field up to that point. The Cavaliers put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 13-6 victory on Wednesday. The Cavaliers not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 4, 2024 (when they won 11-3).
JP Rohwer was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He tossed six innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
