Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Temple Christian Eagles walked away with it. They blew past St. Paul 41-20. Temple Christian might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won four contests by 21 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Temple Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zade Darter, who rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown. Darter really tore up the turf during one magnificent 85-yard run. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddox Caffey, who rushed for 76 yards and a touchdown.
Temple Christian's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for St. Paul, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Temple Christian will square off against First Baptist at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. First Baptist is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. St. Paul does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
