Darlington has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Lakewood Gators at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lakewood took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Darlington, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, Darlington strolled past the Panthers with points to spare, taking the game 58-42.
Meanwhile, Lakewood unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. The match between them and Crestwood wasn't particularly close, with Lakewood falling 51-36.
Despite the defeat, Lakewood had strong showings from Zakiya Hodge, who scored 15 points, and Iesha shaw, who scored 11 points.
Darlington's win bumped their record up to 16-8. As for Lakewood, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.
Darlington took their victory against the Gators in their previous matchup back in January by a conclusive 65-41. The rematch might be a little tougher for Darlington since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
