Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only The Raytown South Cardinals walked away with it. Everything went their way against Neosho on Friday as Raytown South made off with a 35-14 victory.
Although Neosho took the loss, they still got scores from Blayne Patterson and Hudson Williams.
Raytown South is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Neosho, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their record down to 1-9.
Raytown South will face off against Carthage at TBD on Friday. Carthage will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last. Neosho does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
