Kit Carson's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They blew past the Bethune Bobcats 63-8. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Bobcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Kit Carson found their leader in freshman Elizabeth Kent, who shot 57% from the field en route to 20 points and three steals. Those 57% field goal percentage set a new season-high mark for Kent. Another player making a difference was Shay Rady, who posted ten points and five steals.

Kit Carson was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They are a perfect 5-0 when they've passed the ball that well.

The win got Kit Carson back to even at 10-10. As for Bethune, they are on a 32-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-20.

Coming up, Kit Carson will be playing at home against Holly at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bethune, they will take on Peetz in a tournament on Tuesday.
