The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Karsten Swinney, who scored 22 points. The match was his 15th in a row with at least ten points. Noa Von Pine was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with six rebounds.
Word of God Christian Academy's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2. As for Freedom Christian Academy, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-8.
Word of God Christian Academy strolled past Freedom Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in November by a score of 87-73. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Swinney, who scored 31 points.
