You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely the Osceola Bulldogs's strategy against the Shelby-Rising City Huskies on Friday. Osceola strolled past Shelby-Rising City with points to spare, taking the game 50-31. The win made it back-to-back wins for Osceola.
Courtney Sunday had a dynamite game for Osceola, scoring 16 points along with five rebounds. Emma Recker was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds.
Osceola is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for Shelby-Rising City, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-11.
Osceola will square off against Nebraska Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Osceola focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Friday. As for Shelby-Rising City, they will face off against East Butler at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
