Lompoc lost to Oxnard  back in April of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in ten consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with two  RBI.
 In other pitching news,  Alex Brooks looked comfortable as she  tossed 1.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit.
 Back at the plate, Lompoc got a big performance out of  Rianna Stouppe, who  went 2-for-3 with one  stolen base and one  run. Stouppe has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Gabi Arias, who  went 2-for-3 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double.
Lompoc's record is now 13-10. As for Oxnard,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 16-7-1.
 Coming up, Lompoc will face off against Cabrillo at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Oxnard, they will challenge Rio Mesa at 3:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
