Firth came into Friday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They breezed by the Salmon Savages to the tune of 53-20 on Friday. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 22 points or more this season.

Firth got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Shelbie Perry out in front who posted 16 points. Olivia Christensen was another key player, putting up 15 points.

The victory got Firth back to even at 8-8. As for Salmon, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Firth has already played their next match (against North Fremont), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Salmon will venture away from home to face off against West Jefferson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
