New Palestine strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past the Delta Eagles 56-7. With the Dragons ahead 42-7 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Jacob Davis had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 162 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 passes, while also rushing for 67 yards and one score on only six carries. Josh Ranes helped out on the ground, rushing for 102 yards.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: New Palestine was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 262 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 189 rushing yards in seven consecutive matchups.
