The Rockledge Raiders scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Astronaut 63-30 on the road. The win was a breath of fresh air for Rockledge as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
It was another big night for Jaida Williams-Goins, who dropped a triple-double on 21 points, 11 rebounds, and 12 steals. She has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last six times she's played. Makaiya Watkins was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Rockledge's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-10. As for Astronaut, their loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-13.
Rockledge will head out on the road to take on Eau Gallie at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Astronaut won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Odyssey Charter School at 6:00 p.m. on January 17th.
