Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Putnam City North). They walked away with a 9-4 victory over the Putnam City West Patriots on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their 15-game losing streak.

Putnam City North's victory bumped their record up to 2-15. As for Putnam City West, they dropped their record down to 5-10 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Putnam City North beat the Patriots by a score of 14-4 later that day.
