The Chestertown Christian Academy Patriots lost against Calvary Christian Academy back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Chestertown Christian Academy was beaten by Calvary Christian Academy 125-20. Chestertown Christian Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-4.
Calvary Christian Academy was led to victory by Sadie Fournier and Audrey Hensley (HS). Fournier scored 13 points along with four steals, while Hensley (HS) scored 16 points along with seven rebounds. That's the first time this season that Hensley (HS) scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kate Malinky (HS), who scored eight points along with three steals.
Chestertown Christian Academy bumped their record down to 0-2 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 17.8 points per game. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.
Coincidentally, Chestertown Christian Academy and Calvary Christian Academy will both be playing Holly Grove Christian the next time they take the court. Calvary Christian Academy will host Holly Grove Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Chestertown Christian Academy will host them at 4:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
