Basketball Recap: Nodaway Valley Co-Op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt]'s Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

It was fun while it lasted, but Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt]'s undefeated season came to an end after five games on Saturday. They took a 46-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Westran Hornets. The loss was Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt]'s first of the season.

Among those leading the charge was Cooper Harvey, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Treydence Chapman, who posted six points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt] fell to 5-1. As for Westran, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt] will be playing in front of their home fans against Union Star at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westran, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 48-43 victory against South Shelby on the 16th.
