Nation Ford fell to Spring Valley 70-65. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (63), Nation Ford still had to take the loss.
Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Caden Giles, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Giles has been hot recently, having posted ten or more rebounds the last three times he's played. Jackson Burnham was another key contributor, scoring 21 points along with two blocks.
Nation Ford's loss dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Spring Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-11 record this season.
Nation Ford will be playing in front of their home fans against Fort Mill at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Nation Ford is coming into the match with three straight defeats at home, meaning Fort Mill will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory. As for Spring Valley, they will head out on the road to square off against Blythewood at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Spring Valley has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
