Watertown is a perfect 7-0 against Waunakee since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Goslings will welcome the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. Watertown's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so Waunakee's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Watertown barely beat Monona Grove the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Goslings blew past the Silver Eagles 7-1 on Monday. Considering the Goslings have won seven matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Allison Howlett made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Those six strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. She also put up a run, which was her first of the season.
In other batting news, Watertown got a big performance out of Cassidy Peplinski, who went 2-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Cali Craig was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Watertown kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Monona Grove only managed two hits.
Meanwhile, Waunakee fell victim to Oregon and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 7-0 to the Panthers. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.
Watertown's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Waunakee, they now have a losing record of 8-9.
Everything went Watertown's way against Waunakee in their previous matchup back in April, as Watertown made off with a 6-0 win. Do the Goslings have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
