San Jacinto moved up to 333 from 388 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Mountain Pass. The Tigers were able to move up by topping Palm Desert 59-20.
San Jacinto took down the Aztecs 59-20 last week, the largest margin of any game. Murrieta PJ threw for 365 yards and 4 touchdowns and ran for 78 yards during the win.
Bill Powell's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Mario Rubio chipped in 92 yards. Kevin Smith helped San Jacinto's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 41 yards.
The Tigers' dynamic duo of PJ and Kimbrough Malik proved tough for Palm Desert to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Smith helped San Jacinto's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 41 yards.
Malik had an awesome week catching the football as San Jacinto topped Patrick Blackburn's team. He caught 9 passes for 223 yards.
On the heels of Brett Hollingsworth and PJ Walker, Citrus Hill has had great success on offense. Hollingsworth leads the league in passing with 1,337 yards, while Walker has rushed for 513 yards this season. Tops in the league in receiving yards is West Valley's Elijah Brown, with 604 yards on 37 catches.
