Sto-Rox extended the longest winning streak in WPIAL A Big Seven this week by beating Carmichaels, 40-7. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Vikings.
Sto-Rox took down the Mighty Mikes 40-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
6-foot-0 quarterback Joe Salmen of Union Area is the league leader in passing yards this season with 519. He has also thrown six touchdowns. On the ground, South Side's Cameron McCoy has rushed for 732 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Nick Miller. The Western Beaver star has 10 catches for 335 yards.
The Rams made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 9,610 from 10,040.
