If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for North Scott. On Friday they take on Central Clinton/Calamus-Wheatland at 7:30 PM. Each team will be battling to keep their 3-game winning streak alive.
North Scott can thank their lucky stars for their victory over Western Dubuque last week. The final score was a hard-fought 7-6.
Meanwhile, Central Clinton/Calamus-Wheatland had enough points to win and then some against Camanche, taking their match 41-21.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 3-1. We'll see which team can carry over their success and which team inevitably falls when North Scott and Central Clinton/Calamus-Wheatland clash.
