San Jose Prep's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Suliman Koko, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. The contest was Koko's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Desmond Williamson, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds.
Caleb Williams continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Ribault, scoring 23 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds. Those seven rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Collin Bell was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
San Jose Prep now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Ribault, their win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. San Jose Prep will square off against North Florida Educational Institute at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. North Florida Educational Institute is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. Ribault won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Raines at 7:30 p.m. on December 16th. Raines is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
