Meanwhile, McClave couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 21-0 heading into the break. The other side of the ball continued to do well for Pikes Peak Christian in the second half and held McClave to 6 points. The victory bumped Pikes Peak Christian's record up to 0-1. The defeat dropped McClave's record to 0-1.
Pikes Peak Christian hope to keep the momentum going despite some extra time before their next game against Calhan at 7:00 PM in two weeks. As for McClave, they will face off against Elbert.
