Millis is 0-10 against Norton since June of 2021 but things could change on Wednesday. The Mohawks will host the Lancers at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Millis barely beat Medway the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Mohawks never let the Mustangs get on the board and left with an 18-0 victory on Monday. That 18-run margin sets a new team best for the Mohawks this season.
Mia Vasta made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over four innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.

Millis kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4.8 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 11.6.
Meanwhile, Norton came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 5-0 win over the Hornets.
Like Millis, Norton also got a great game from a two-way player: Liana Danubio. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. Danubio was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
Danubio wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Talia Faria, who went 2-for-4 with one run.
Millis' victory bumped their record up to 4-11. As for Norton, their win bumped their record up to 17-1-1.
