In what's become a running theme this season, Fort Zumwalt East gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Wednesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Holt Indians  a   10-0 shutout. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Fort Zumwalt East.
  Brendan Pyle made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only two  hits while striking out seven over six innings pitched. Pyle was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with three  runs and a  triple.
 In other batting news,  Eric Williams was  incredible,  going 1-for-3 with a  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Maverick Shultz, who  went 3-for-4 with three  RBI and two  doubles.
 Fort Zumwalt East has  been performing  well recently as they've  won eight of their last ten games,  which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record  this season. As for Holt,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 5-14.
 Coincidentally,  the two teams will both be playing Fort Zumwalt North the next time they take the field. Holt will head out to face Fort Zumwalt North at 4:15  p.m.  on Thursday, while Fort Zumwalt East will head out to face them  at 4:15  p.m.  on Tuesday.
