Volleyball Recap: Nimitz Gets the Win

Nimitz won the last time they faced Alief Hastings and things went their way on Saturday too. The Cougars came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bears, sneaking past 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Nimitz's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Alief Hastings, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nimitz will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Liberty at 6:30 p.m. on the 26th. As for Alief Hastings, they will challenge Episcopal at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
