Chartiers-Houston walked away with a 54-47 win over Bentworth on Friday. That's another feather in the cap for Chartiers-Houston, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Several Bearcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lucas Burt, who scored 14 points along with two steals. Burt hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. Ben Hays was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with three steals.
Chartiers-Houston's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Bentworth, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.
Chartiers-Houston will head out on the road to square off against Frazier at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bentworth, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Carmichaels at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Carmichaels has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 15.
