Wise has not been sharp recently as the team has lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season. As for Laurel, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-11.
Everything came up roses for Wise against Laurel in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 51-18 win. Will Wise repeat their success, or does Laurel have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
