The Omaha Christian Academy Eagles won the last time they faced the Cedar Bluffs Wildcats, and things went their way on Thursday too. Omaha Christian Academy snuck past Cedar Bluffs with a 44-38 win.
Omaha Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kade Dejong, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeevan James, who scored ten points.
Omaha Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Cedar Bluffs, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Omaha Christian Academy will take on Omaha Nation on Tuesday. Omaha Nation is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. Cedar Bluffs on the road again on Monday and play against Iowa School for the Deaf on January 29th. Iowa School for the Deaf comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 13 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
