Bloomfield is a perfect 4-0 against Belleville since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Bengals will face off against the Buccaneers at 11:00 a.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Saturday.
Bloomfield will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Wednesday, then bounced right back against Secaucus on Thursday. The Bengals were the clear victors by a 14-7 margin over the Patriots. The result was nothing new for the Bengals, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Casey Lardner spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and four unearned) runs on seven hits.

At the plate, Gabriella Bartley and Samantha Ramos did most of the damage at the plate: Bartley got on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run, two stolen bases, and five RBI, while Ramos went 4-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and two doubles. Those five RBI gave Bartley a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Julia Miller, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Bloomfield lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Belleville got the win against West Caldwell Tech on Wednesday by a conclusive 14-4. The Buccaneers haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
Belleville's win bumped their record up to 5-13. As for Bloomfield, their victory bumped their record up to 13-15.
Everything went Bloomfield's way against Belleville in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, as Bloomfield made off with a 10-0 win. Do the Bengals have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Buccaneers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
