New Living Word had to endure a ten-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the St. Mary Tigers by a score of 65-52 on Friday. The Lions' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

New Living Word's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-10. As for St. Mary, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Living Word and North Caddo will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Mary, they will be home for the holidays to greet Quitman at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Quitman will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something St. Mary surely won't give up without a fight.
