When it comes to explaining why Lincoln Southeast lost, one person who can't be blamed is Taye Moore. Despite the final result, he scored 22 points along with 5 assists and 4 steals. Jake Hilkemann was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Gretna's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Lincoln Southeast, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
