Smyrna has won seven straight games at home, while Stewarts Creek has won seven straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Thursday. The Bulldogs will host the Red Hawks at 6:30 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Smyrna will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Monday, then bounced right back against LaVergne on Tuesday. The Bulldogs blew past the Wolverines 15-1. Considering the Bulldogs' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
