The White Hall Bulldogs will head out on the road to square off against the Little Rock Christian Academy Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. White Hall is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
White Hall hadn't beaten Lakeside on the road since March 29, 2022 but that history sure didn't bother them on Tuesday. The Bulldogs walked away with an 8-3 win over the Rams.
Bethany Roper spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits and racked up nine Ks.

On the hitting side, Allie Rushing was incredible, scoring four runs while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Maycey Langston also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
White Hall was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .308 or higher in four consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous four contests, Little Rock Christian Academy brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They were the clear victors by a 17-6 margin over Jacksonville on Tuesday. The Warriors not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 22, 2024.
Little Rock Christian Academy got a massive performance out of Keridon Mathews, who scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Lawhon, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
White Hall's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-8-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Little Rock Christian Academy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-14.
Little Rock Christian Academy's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: White Hall hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .336. It's a different story for Little Rock Christian Academy, though, as they've only averaged .188. Will they be able to contain White Hall's hitters?
White Hall took their win against Little Rock Christian Academy when the teams last played back in May of 2017 by a conclusive 16-0 score. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
