Despite the loss, Aiken saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Darius Walker picked up 63 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 71 yards.
Aiken's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Gilbert, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
