Jonesboro has gone a perfect 4-0 against Aquilla recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cougars at 4:00 p.m.

Last Saturday, Jonesboro came up short against Oglesby and fell 5-1. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Aquilla faced off against Oglesby on Tuesday. The Cougars won by a run and slipped past the Tigers 7-6. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Aquilla's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Jonesboro, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Jonesboro came out on top in a nail-biter against Aquilla in their previous meeting last Monday, sneaking past 6-4. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
