The Osceola Kowboys won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They were beaten by St. Cloud 59-23. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Osceola in their matchups with St. Cloud: they've now lost seven in a row.
Despite the defeat, Osceola had strong showings from Jamylah Williams, who scored seven points, and Brooklyn Sippio, who scored four points.
Osceola's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-13. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 21.0 points per game. As for St. Cloud, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.
Osceola will head out on the road to square off against Poinciana at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (Poinciana is ranked 478th, while Osceola is ranked 493rd). As for St. Cloud, they will be playing at home against Tohopekaliga at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tohopekaliga is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
