The win was all the more spectacular given Chapman's disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 106th, while Blue Ridge is ranked 23rd).
Meanwhile, Broome made easy work of Carolina Academy on Tuesday and carried off a 55-32 victory. Broome pushed the score to 44-19 by the end of the third, a deficit Carolina Academy cut but never quite recovered from.
It was another big night for Anaya Wofford, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 16 rebounds. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kourtney Wofford, who scored 13 points along with three steals.
Chapman's victory bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Broome, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-14.
