This season hasn't been kind to the J.Z. George Jaguars, who are still winless after their sixth contest. They lost to West Tallahatchie on the road by a decisive 30-15 margin on Tuesday. J.Z. George was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as West Tallahatchie apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2021.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead West Tallahatchie to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mi'Kenzi Christian, who scored 8 points. Another player making a difference was Dakyiha Johnson, who scored 8 points.
J.Z. George's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-6. As for West Tallahatchie, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. J.Z. George's road trip will continue as they head out to face Ethel at 6:00 p.m. on December 8th. As for West Tallahatchie, they will take on Water Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
