After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Classical Christian School for the Arts, the Web of Wisdom Wizards were happy to have found some success on Friday. They came out on top against Genesis Prep by a score of 40-33. Web of Wisdom's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Web of Wisdom's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Taylor Smith led the charge by scoring 14 points. Another player making a difference was G'Khai Harvey, who scored 11 points.
The victory got Web of Wisdom back to even at 2-2. As for Genesis Prep, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Web of Wisdom will head out on the road to square off against Classical Christian School for the Arts at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Genesis Prep, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Solid Rock Community at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Solid Rock Community is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
